So simple at work: I said I was going to the temple
I recently had an experience sharing the gospel confidently at work.
I dressed up one day because I planned to attend the temple after work. A co-worker jokingly teased me about being so dressed up since our business is a semi-casual workplace.
“What are you dressed up for?”
I jumped at the opportunity.
“I’m planning to attend the Mormon temple later today.”
Nothing has come of the conversation so far, but I felt honored to have shared my testimony simply by what I wore and by straightforwardly saying what I was dressed up for — to do what I do as a Latter-day Saint.
