I have an experience about sharing the gospel online.

I’ve recently been re-connecting with old high school friends and acquaintances. The majority of these friends are members of other faiths — good people who value family, marriage, etc.

Since we live far from one another, in most cases I watch carefully on Facebook for exciting, scary and important life events in the lives of these friends. I then take some time to express my appreciation for their example.

As I’ve been reading The Power of Everyday Missionaries, I’ve put forth effort to use words that are religious, to be more open about their faith and mine in God and His Son, to mention how my church membership has been a blessing, and so forth.

Since that time, I’ve enjoyed countless discussions involving the Church, and have even offered if people would be willing to listen to the missionaries.
